Tender, soft and flawless skin – the wish of many women and men. Unsightly reddening of the skin and the finest veins on the nose and cheeks unfortunately do not match this wish. Couperose treatment with a laser is a quick and effective method of removing annoying redness on the face. During laser treatment in the Praxis Contour in Fulda and Frankfurt, annoying veins on the face and on the cleavage are gently desolated. A short time after the treatment, your skin shines in a new – and above all flawless – shine.

The rosacea should not be confused with the couperose. Many people see couperose and rosacea as the same skin disorder. From a medical point of view, however, there is a clear difference between the skin symptoms. While couperose is primarily seen as a cosmetic problem, rosacea is considered a skin disease.
Couperose is widespread in the population, with more women being affected than men. Signs of the primarily cosmetic problem are fine veins, which are particularly noticeable on the cheeks and nose. Veins that shine through the skin on the cleavage or other areas of the face are less common. Couperosis is usually caused by a weak connective tissue in the face area, which is not infrequently caused by a genetic predisposition. Couperose is not considered a disease, but it can occur as a precursor to rosacea.
Rosacea (also rosacea) is an inflammatory skin disease that is noticeable by itchy and flaky redness (usually spotty) as well as by pustules and tissue growth in the affected areas. In most cases, the cause of rosacea is unknown. Rosacea should not be confused with acne.
People who suffer from couperose or rosacea usually have sensitive skin (sometimes dry skin) that should only be treated with gentle creams if possible. In addition, patients should avoid hot spices and generally spicy food, because hotness widens the vessels and the visible veins can enlarge. Furthermore, alcohol, long sunbathing and a visit to the solarium and sauna should be avoided.
The treatment is designed depending on how pronounced the skin symptoms are. A well-known home remedy for enlarged blood vessels is therapy with black tea, which is applied in the form of cold wraps to the slight redness. However, this method has not been scientifically proven and should only be used for slight reddening of the skin. Patients suffering from severe redness from rosacea have the option of starting medication.
A particularly effective method for treating the skin symptoms is the treatment of couperose using a laser.
Laser treatment for couperose is a popular treatment to make unsightly veins disappear within a very short time. Couperose treatment with the laser focuses concentrated, high-energy light on the affected areas of the skin. The red blood cells heat up, causing them to clot. The veins are destroyed and then naturally broken down by the body. The skin itself does not suffer any damage when treated with laser couperose.
Couperose removal with the laser is suitable for both women and men who suffer from enlarged vessels on the face or from the cleavage. These vessels show up in the form of fine veins that shine through the skin and appear particularly on the cheeks and nose. Discuss with our doctor Dr. David in a personal consultation, whether the laser therapy is the right treatment for you.
The first results after the couperose laser in Frankfurt and Fulda can be seen shortly after the treatment. Depending on the size of the veins, the treatment may need to be repeated.
The costs associated with couperose lasering vary depending on the scope and number of treatments. You will receive a precise list of costs as well as further information on couperose treatment in your personal consultation appointment.
